Love is Our Superpower

Last night I had a dream. I was in a hospital appealing to doctors to help people who were dying. The doctors felt they had done everything they could, but I couldn’t accept that and pleaded with them to try harder. I felt like I didn’t have the skill, knowledge or power to save them on my own because I wasn’t a doctor.

After a while I gave up on the doctors, and I started to focus on my love for the dying people. Some of them were cured, got up from their hospital beds and walked away with a renewed sense of what life really is.

Some of them “died”. But as they passed, they looked back at me and said, “Don’t worry! We’ve found life. We’ve found love. It’s all going to be okay. We’re in the best place. We made it!”

Interpretation:

Love is the answer to everything. Love is a superpower. The power to heal, to redeem. Love is THE resurrection power.

Love isn’t by our own strength. We must tap into and channel love of God. This is what it means to bring Heaven to earth.

Love is more powerful than any human effort or knowledge. It’s counter to what we have been taught: to muscle through and try harder, or to use skill and logic, or to fix people when they’re not doing the right thing or the thing we want them to do.
